Colouring Pencil

In this photo I got an image of colouring pencils and then with the brush tool I drew lines coming out of the tips of the pencils doing design and writing my name.

4 Faces into 1

In this picture there is four different people who I have cropped to make one face.

Movement

Today we all went out side with the camera set at S or sports mode and we took a tripod. My shutter speed was 1/500 rather than 1/320 because it is brighter outside than inside meaning you do not neded to let as much light in so the hole stays open for shorter. We took pictures of people running, doing tuck jumps, star jumps, stradle jumps, cartwheels, handstands and even round offs. 

Jumping off a diving board

This photo was shot by someone else. It is catching movement of me jumping in the air. Then I cut myself out and put it on a background with a diving board and pool.

 

Inside Jumping in The Air

Today we took pictures of movement. First I set my camera to S which stands for speed. Then I got James to jump on the count of three. I set my shutter speed to 1/320 meaning the camera will take a picture faster to capture James in the air. When I started taking the pictures of james he was a bit blurred so I used a tripod instead of holding the camera because a person moves naturally.

Black and white

This morning I used the black and white tool on one of my portrait photographs. Then I Used the rubber tool on my jumper and glasses rim so they changed back into their original colour.

Colourful Zebra

In this photo I made it colourful by using the paint bucket doing different colours for each stripe.

Merging and Pop Art

In this Picture I combined merging two images together and pop art. I call it Banana Cat.

Using A Reflector



Today I took portrait pictures. The first picture is ordinary as it uses the light from the sun coming in through the window. The second picture we used a gold reflector which took the light from the sun and reflectecd it onto the face. This made the face more radiant.  



 





Day 3 what I am doing

Day 3

Today I am going to learn about Camera Equipment such as a Tripod, different coloured Reflectors, lenses and SD cards.



Evaluation of the second day

Today I have learnt quite alot. I have discovered ho to merge two pictures together.I also used a Nikon camera which is bigger, heavier and more technical than a digital camera I used yesterday. We took pictures of shells using different angles. We put the dial to P standing for Priority meaning the camera decides what is the main thing it needs to set for its surroundings for example light. We also found out how to hold a camera properly. You put one hand on the lense and the other on the side of the camera grip.

 

 

Merging Textures

The 2nd Day

Today I merged two photographs together. this was quite a hard technique as you needed to drag one image on top of another. We then added a style overlay.

Photoshop Work

I object of this task was to photograph things from different angles. I then get to chose my best images and tweak them in photoshop.  I sharpened and cropped the image below using the crop tool in the tool box.

About Me

My Name is Niamh Fitzy and this is my first day at SRC Technology Camp the 22/07/2013.  I will be uploading the work that I am doing in camp each day to let everyone see what I am creating.

Today we looked at some work done by Ansel Adams the master of photography. I noticed a lot of his images are black and white.
